Hand Count / Turning Movement Counts

Newport Traffic Studies uses only trained personel to perform turning movement counts. Many companies use temp agencies for this type of count but from past performances, we prefer to use our own staff.

The data is presented by the hour with a selected peak hour sheet which shows the peak hour factor for each leg as well as the total intersection.

Newport Traffic Studies also will tally the truck traffic and their movements through the intersection.

Below are examples of the printed presentation of the data. Both ASCII and excel files are also available on request.
